I knew that when I got the new job and started immediately, with only 5 days between the offer acceptance and my start date, that I was returning to the work force in a rocket ship. But I don't think I realized the impact of that on me until today.
Today I read a book which I haven't done for weeks.
Today I walked three miles which I haven't done for two months after doing it five or six days a week for years.
Today I took a nap on the beach and I don't nap.
Wednesday I am back on the road for work.
Tomorrow I am back on the sand for me.
