It's All Coming Back To Me Now

I just had dinner in the hotel restaurant. I then got on the elevator to return to my room and a couple got on after me. I asked them which floor they wanted since I was closest to the buttons and they told me. I had a hard time finding number "8" and told them I had only had one drink and couldn't find that number. They replied that they had each had three drinks and so they were going wherever I was going. I have really missed meeting people and having conversations with them while on an elevator or in the hotel lobby. Even if no alcohol is involved.

Tomorrow I return home. My week in Tampa has been chock full of training and meeting people. I'm so glad I was able to come to company headquarters so early in my employment; week 2.

For someone who wanted nothing more than a job, I am finding my way not only back to being employed but also through the land mines of a new company. It's hard to discern (I love that word) which of these two things is causing any hiccups I am experiencing.

Sometimes you can cure hiccups by sipping water or a good scare. I think these particular hiccups are going to take some good old-fashioned time.

And in case you think I was joking in yesterday's post, yes that is a Cosmo.

And those are palm trees out the window.

And once again, I don't even care.
